Welcome to DGATV’s 2022 ATV & Side-by-side Riding Season!

The season starts May 1st and runs to November 30th weather permitting.  Currently the trails are looking good and seem likely to open on time.

DGATV begins this year with a relatively new Board of Directors after the Annual General Meeting last month welcoming four brand new Directors to help run the club.

Many thanks to all past Directors for their commitment to the club and hard work in keeping DGATV viable and running smoothly for the past 15 years.

Special thanks to Tim Allen who is stepping down as Director after more than 11 years on the Executive with 8 of those years as DGATV’s President.  Tim is staying active with the club and will continue to help out and advise as Past President.  We thank Tim for his dedication and for all that he has done for DGATV and the sport of ATVing in Ontario.

DGATV’s Executive meets on the third Wednesday of every month excluding December.  The next meeting is planned for April 20th at a location to be determined when the Executive will choose a new President and assign duties to Directors.

This season promises to be invigorating as we ramp up after two years of the province’s pandemic response.  So far we have a few dates put aside (calendar subject to change so stay tuned).

DGATV’s Annual General Meeting (March 27, 2022)

Spring is in the air!

The Government of Ontario’s pandemic response is drawing to a close.  Due to that response, the past two years have been atypical.  DGATV’s membership increased but the club’s ability to provide social events was hampered.  Despite group gathering limits and other obstacles we managed to keep the bulk of our trails maintained and open to our riders.  Hopefully all pandemic limits will come to an end on March 21st.

Accordingly this year’s Annual General Meeting will be in person at the Dundalk Legion.

Mark your calendar and join us for this year’s annual general meeting.  Connect with Executive members and other ATV and side-by-side enthusiasts.  Learn about our club and what we do for you.  Get your questions answered.  Vote for the upcoming season’s Directors and/or volunteer to join the Executive!

DGATV’s Board of Directors consists of seven (7) Directors with two (2) year terms.  Theoretically, no more than 50% of the Board should come up for election each year so ideally DGATV never has an entirely new Board of Directors.

Candidates for Director must be on record as a DGATV member for at least three (3) months.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Dufferin Grey ATV Club Inc. is scheduled for Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00pm.

All Members of the Dufferin Grey ATV Club Inc. are welcome and wallet card with permit number will be requested for verification.

Time:  Registration opens at 12:30pm.

Location:  Dundalk Legion, 109 Proton St. N., Dundalk, ON

Agenda:

  • To receive the Report of the Executive.
  • To hear the Treasurer’s Report.
  • To elect four (4) Directors positions for two (2) year terms.
  • To elect one (1) Director position for one (1) year term.
  • To address New Business.

Votes may be recorded for the record.

* Please check back closer to the date to ensure the meeting details have not changed.
