Dufferin Grey ATV Club was happy to team with the Grey Highlands Fire Fighters to raise funds to help purchase an emergency utility vehicle for use by the fire fighters on the trails. In its entirety the event raised over $5,000 for the Fire Fighters.

The event started with the Community Pancake Breakfast at the Markdale Fire Hall followed by the ATV/side-by-side ride. BBQ lunch was served by the Grey Highlands Fire Fighters.
Lottery tickets sold throughout the summer season culminated in the draw at the end of the ride.
DGATV was pleased to present Carter Franks of Dundalk with the $750 tire prize. The prize was accepted by his Dad, Jeff.
Second prize, a Stihl leaf blower, was presented to Rhonda Broderick by DGATV Director and Events Coordinator, Jamie Thurman.
Third prize, dinner at Steven’s Restaurant, was awarded to Jim Houston.
Fourth prize, a night’s stay at the Walters Falls Inn and Spa, was won by Sarah Cripps.

Proceeds from the lottery and the ride will go toward buying a fully equipped UTV, for off road fire and rescue.
