A beautiful day for the Cinqo de Mayo (May 5th) ride. This Mexican themed event presented a $50 gift card to the best dressed, as well as $100 gift card to the furthest traveled.
Sponsors included Parkway Yamaha, Hatten Home Hardware in Chatsworth, Markdale Home Hardware, Universal Rental Service, Dairy Daughter Gas Bar, Markdale Foodland, Village Green Cafe and Hawthorne Cottages and Camping.
Proceeds from the ride and individual donations were distributed between two locals charities: Beavercrest Public School Breakfast Club ($405) and the Markdale Food Bank ($425).

Many enthusiastic ATVers arrived early Saturday, September 3, 2011 to assist the Dufferin Grey ATV Club in raising funds for the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation.
This ride departed from Markdale in the early morning and the riders followed the trail through Grey Highlands and Chatsworth Townships.
Lunch was served at the opening of the new trail near Walters Falls before heading back to Markdale where prizes were given away.
The poker hand winners were Don Wright for top hand receiving the weekend getaway for two at Waterfalls Lodge. Jeff Elliot selected the jacket from Kymco Canada and Bruce Newman received the barbecue.
The biggest event of the day took place in front of the audience of riders as two of the members, Vera Lloyd and Paul Smith, donated their hair to the charity raising approximately $1,700.

A cheque was given to the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation in the amount of $3,066 following the event. Way to go Riders!

Dufferin Grey ATV Club was happy to volunteer at the 2nd Annual Chatsworth Firefighters Association ATV ride on June 9, 2010, raising $2,100 which will be put towards purchase of emergency equipment.
While we hope we don’t see emergency services on the trail too often, we are happy knowing that our riders are protected.

Dufferin Grey ATV Club hosted a poker run in West Grey on October 4, 2009 with the proceeds going to the Grey County Tornado Relief Committee.
The ride was approximate 80 kms long and took about 4 hours. Poker hand cost was $25.
There were 53 riders and $700 donated to the Grey County Tornado Relief Committee.
